• Cryptosphere

  The unseen world beneath the leaf litter, contains abundant life forms adapted to live in the various zones of this underworld. On each layer of this cryptosphere, animals have adapted to live in that particular habitat. At the surface layer, animals evolved to run. In the mulch layer crawling animals, rest and hunt on the cushioned bed of leaf and decomposing vegetation. Beneath the base soil layer, burrowing animals such as worms and beetle larvae, navigate through the various zones of rich and under explored world.
